The Hampton Roads Marine Fire Fighting Symposium is held the second full week of May each year in Norfolk, VA. This is undoubtably the most comprehensive hands-on marine fire training experience you will currently find anywhere in the country. TMSA requires all of our instructors to attend this one week course after completion of our train-the-trainer program. Additionally, the National Marine Firefighting Academy also requires instructors in the train-the-trainer program to attend this course prior to issuance of certification to teach the marine fire course. The Symposium is held the Second full week of May each year. Class size is limited to 80 students. Contact TMSA or the HR MIRT for more details.
